Who is Alexander McQueen:
Alexander McQueen was born on March 17, 1969, in Lewisham, London. He became head designer of the Louis Vuitton-owned Givenchy fashion line, and in 2004 he launched his own menswear line.
Alexanders' Company:
The McQueen company is a big Haute Couture designer. McQueen's garments are extraordinary. Alexander's collections combine an in-depth working knowledge of bespoke British tailoring, the fine workmanship of the French Haute Couture atelier and the impeccable finish of Italian manufacturing. In less than 10 years McQueen became one of the most respected fashion designers in the world.
I chose to cover Alexander McQueen's Haute Couture work because he is one of my favorite designers. His work is incredible. He takes a french made type of couture and puts a British twist to it making his work unique and memorable.
